Kiwanis meeting of December 2nd

Mark Maxwell and Brenda Smith were our guests today. After their introductions we went into our agenda :
1. The bowling team took 3 points on Tuesday
2. We had the 2nd reading for Brenda Smith
3. We had a moment of silence for a past member. Ron Green passed away on Monday
4. The shoe collection is still on going until December 15th
5. President Iggy announced that we have a Monroe County Key Club now and will be looking to add more members from area High Schools
6. Doug Kuras announced the Kiwanis Lottery ticket sales are going well but we still need to get money or unsold tickets in right away
7. The Worlds Largest Baby Shower will be next week with items going to the Heartbeat of Monroe
8. The Salvation Christmas Party is next Wednesday and members are reminded to bring their wrapped gifts to the meeting next week
9. Members are asked to be at the Ida Light Parade early to help organize the event with Bob Knabusch
10. We still need volunteers to help ring bells on December 19th. If you can help please contact Deb Davenport
11. The Presidents Christmas Party will be on December 19th
12. The Poinsettias will be at 1st Presbyterian Church on Thursday 12/3/2015 at 9am. We could use help unloading them. Members are asked to pick their orders up as well
13. The next Board Meeting is next Tuesday 12/8/15 at noon
The rest of the meeting was devoted to Committee Day
