Kiwanis Meeting of July 26th

The agenda for the week was:
The Social Committee attended a Toledo Mud Hens game On 7/26/17
We will be packing Peanuts this evening 7/27/17 at 6pm at Gene Jenkins house.Contact Don Lutz for more information
The Club will be selling peanuts at the Monroe County Fair Parade this Sunday 7/30/17.Contact Gene Jenkins or Don Lutz if you can help or be at Joe’s Stanard across from Firestone by 12:00
The club was given a picture plaque of the team we sponsored this year in the Parks and Recreation league
We still need workers for the Special Olympics Regional Golf outing on August 14th
We will be selling beer at the Monroe County Fair on 8/4/17
Birthdays this week included Kritin Irwin and Tracey Oberlieter
The next Board meeting is on 8/8/17 at noon and Budgets for the 2017-18 Administrative year are due
Workers are still needed for the Aktion Club Conference on 9/14/17.See Dick Sager or Jim Keegan if you can help
All the letters have been sent out to advertisers for the Kiwanis Newsmagazine for this year.Please make an effort to contact all those listed in your name.Patron ads are also being collected at the meeting,so contact me if you would like to be added again this year.I will continue to update members as to how we are doing on a weekly basis.
The Terry Nisley family were our guests today. The kids are now 16 years old and are being Home Schooled.A short history was given as to what they have been and will be doing in the future.As a special treat all 4 of the kids play musical instruments and gave a 2 song performance before the parents answered questions from the members. It was fun having them there
